Packing for Mexico
I’m looking forward to an upcoming winter getaway to Mexico, and since there’s currently snow on the ground, I decided to get packing via my Stylebook app! Temperatures will be in the mid-seventies and sunny, and a little chilly at night so I am adding some light layers. Activities will include mostly fun in the sun, and some walking around/daytime touring, so I am packing mostly easy dress options to pair with espadrilles or white tennies. My color palette of white and blue with some bright accents.
What I’ll Pack:
Tops: 2 button-down long-sleeve shirts, 1 cable knit sweater, 1 off-shoulder top, white tee and white tank
Bottoms: 2 pairs of jeans (black and medium-wash), jean cutoffs, white shorts, and Otomi skirt
Dresses: navy silk tee dress, black tank dress, white Swiss dot cotton dress, and white tank dress; all good options for daytime outfits or beach coverups
Shoes: 2 pairs rubber sandals (black and metallic), neutral espadrilles, wedge espadrilles for going out, and a pair of white tennis shoes
Extras: 3 hats (wide-brim for beach, Panama for walking around and baseball cap for on the water); 4 pairs of sunnies (they don’t take up much space and are a fun way to switch up your look), oversized, printed cashmere scarf (works as a plane scarf, worn as a beach coverup or a dress); 3 belts (bright & colorful, gold metal, and black waist belt for turning my large scarf into a dress); jean jacket; white linen blazer; 3 bikinis; mini crossbody bag for going out; straw tote for daytime; large tote for beach and plane; and finally a little assortment of bangles and statement earrings (not pictured)
