Winter To-Do List
The idea of hibernation is intriguing to me, insofar as I’ll be primarily indoors for the next few months with a much more narrowed focus on projects and leisure activities that can all take place inside our home. Without the distractions of yard work, traveling, markets, and plenty of other pursuits, I am looking forward to some simpler, slower weekend activities and enjoyments. Here’s what’s on my mind.
Doing my holiday shopping entirely in my pajamas.
Switching out the bed linens for the coziest flannel sheets.
Opting for a neon pink manicure to promote some mid-winter cheer.
Refreshing all of the trim work in our house with a new coat of paint.
Dusting off some ice skates if the pond behind our house freezes enough!
Decorating a gingerbread house.
Repotting and fertilizing all of my house plants.
Framing more family photos to scatter around the house.
Re-seasoning my cast iron pans.
Keeping lots of fresh flowers around until the first signs of spring!
